1935 Austin Light 12/ 4 Open Road Tourer - NOW RESERVED

* Introduced in late 1932, the Light 12/ 4 was to prove a highly successful model. Available in standard and deluxe saloon forms, and also as a two-seater with dickey seat or a four-seater tourer. The latter, designated ?Open Road? Tourer, as with earlier touring models.
From September 1934 the gearbox benefited from synchromesh on 2nd, 3rd and top gears.
This example is one of the last to feature the exposed radiator with chrome surround, as from later in 1935 the cowled surround was fitted in keeping with other Austin models.
This particular car has been known to me since the mid 1970?s and is in very good order throughout
A comparatively rare model, it is also very practical and useable
