Always fancied a vintage Austin Seven but don?t want to do a load of work, ?the one who must be obeyed? won?t sit on worn out, saggy, cracked and torn seats, not got a massive budget but don?t want to look like you?ve just come from Steptoe?s scrap yard, read on and discover the delights of this little gem.
Well presented, great fun, 1933 Austin Seven, it has a lovely smart interior that anyone will happily climb into and solid coachwork with a deep shine to the paint, its ready to admire and enjoy and you won?t need a re-mortgage to buy it, all running and operating as intended and has clearly been cherished by a caring owner, everything very well maintained and in good serviceable order.
It has lovely little touches like a wooden fuel dipstick (dash gauge works but probably unreliable), still has the supplying dealer?s plaque on the dash, you get a tapered wooden peg to hold the choke on in variable positions (normally just a clothes peg) and the front seats have been fitted on adjustable runners making it the comfiest ?7? I?ve sat in.
The pictures say it all, the car has massive amounts of charm, you can?t drive it without a grin on your face, a smile every mile guaranteed, it?s a clean and solid underneath as you see on top, watch the video we show every bit of the underside, all the tyres are very good with no age cracks or splits, including the spare, everything is well greased up, the brake cables and adjusters are all recently serviced.
No untoward bangs, clang?s or rattles as you move along, gears select easily with a nice sharp clutch, 4 speed gearbox, has good oil pressure even when warm, brakes work very well (see video), good handbrake, the lights work and modern indicators have been fitted which all work, as does the horn and wiper, the pre electronic (tilting windscreen) air conditioning operates and the winding side windows glide up and down.
We have the current modern logbook, several older logbooks, HPI all clear printout, lots of old MOT?s, service / parts invoices, magazines and old tax discs and parts books, plus we have a PDF file of the original owner?s handbook. Sadly, lost its original registration number a few years back, but all the Austin Seven Register printout confirming its heritage is in the folder, first registered on New Years Eve 31st Dec 1933, there?s a replica of its first tax disc in the windscreen.
It presents well enough and will be admired wherever you go, paint finish is suited to the car, it?s not immaculate, has a little age, close inspection will find the odd blemish and imperfection. It?s not concours, but it?s not 15 grand either.
Have some fun with your savings, you bank manager isn?t doing you any favours with your boring ISA, tick the box off your bucket list and own a vintage car, won?t be worth any less when you?ve had your enjoyment, these cars are currently excellent value for money.
Very well priced, excellent running and driving Austin Seven, ideal for a buyer who wants to enjoy it, not do loads of work.

Local delivery within 20 miles of Carlisle is normally for free, further afield we can deliver to most of the UK for £1 per road mile from Carlisle (it will not be delivered by crow), highlands, islands and outlying areas please check with us first. No sorry we can?t deliver for the asking price, the car is at sensible money and we are only covering the fuel cost with the deliver charge.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
