Without doubt one of the most beautifully made cars to come out of Japan. The LS400 was designed to compete with long established luxury rivals from Mercedes, Jaguar and BMW. The 4. 0 V8 is silky smooth and is renowned for its near silent operation.
This superb example was purchased new by a company who kept the car for 12 months. It was then purchased as an approved used Lexus by a gentleman from Kent. He kept the car garaged and carefully maintained for his ownership and the condition of the car is a real credit to him. The leather is still soft and supple and the body work is free from corrosion. There is a large file of paperwork with invoices detailing work done as well as all MOT certificates.
There is an excellent service history with entries in the book at 1k, 11k, 17k, 22k, 35k, 47k, 56k, 66k (all at main dealer) and then an independent garage at 74k and 83k. I have just had the car serviced and a new timing belt and water pump fitted. I also had the opportunity to purchase the optional 17" alloy wheels which had been in dry storage for 20 years and set the car off beautifully.
This car is open to any inspection and is sure to bring the next owner much pleasure.
