152 XKE is a RHD Home Market genuine Morris Minor Tourer. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate confirms the Morris was supplied new in Almond Green with Porcelain Green trim and Pearl Grey Hood. The car was built between the 3rd and 5th June 1963 and supplied new by John C Beadle Limited in Dartford, Kent.
This stunning, well presented fully rebuilt Minor comes with a comprehensive history file with MOT certificates dating back 40 years. Even more impressive is a file of invoices from Minor Medics Ltd for a no-expense spared restoration back in 2000-2001. In the region of £18000 was spent taking this Morris to a very high standard. Since the major restoration 152 XKE has covered around 5000 miles and over 20 years on the car drives superbly and presents incredibly well.
The well-executed restoration included a strip down of the body, comprehensive body restoration to include new floor pans, full sills, jacking points, cross member and inner rear arches. The major bodywork was completed and then then it was prepared for a full re-paint. The interior was fully re-trimmed, all brightwork replaced the car was overhauled mechanically. The engine was rebuilt and converted to unleaded, and the car further enhanced by the fitting of a heater, period spot lamps, chrome badge bar and full stainless steel exhaust system.
152 XKE looks great with impressive paintwork and chrome, the bodywork is excellent, and the underside presents superbly with ultra clean floor pans. With superb brightwork, a delightful interior and lovely engine bay, this Morris Minor offers excellent value for a strong driving, superbly presented car. The Minor is very pleasant on the road, it has a strong, lusty engine, lovely gearbox with good syncro's and quiet rear axle. We sold the Morris for the first time back in 2021 to a regular customer in Somerset who has enjoyed two years of ownership. Over this time the Morris has had a major service, re-conditioned dynamo, new rocker cover gasket, new radiator bottom hose and gasket, four new wheel cylinders, new water pump gasket and a new differential pinion seal.
This won't disappoint, it's a genuine Tourer in its correct colour, with its desirable original registration mark.
