Mercedes e300 s124 diesel. Had the car a couple of years enthusiast member of MB club.
Update 24/ 04: I've a folder of images here
Quite a bit of work done inc full engine, gearbox service inc filters and coolant, lots of paperwork for parts etc.
I travel to mainland UK (midlands/ London) quite a bit, so would be able to bring it to most areas if that was something that the buyer would like.
MOT to July 2024. Solid mechanicals, no issues with jacking points or the usual estate weak point (leaks, rust in rearmost window frames, failed self leveling suspension).
Exterior is not bad, the arches are ok, the usual rust traps are cleaned and greased. There was a repair of part of the front RHD arch, you can spot it in the photo, but it's not obvious.
ABS, OVP fine, gearbox smooth. Michelins all round and about 60% thread depth left.
Diesel pump is standard, not modified. Though this was my plan, new DPUK pump, and turbo, but I was in two minds about it.
Was stored for the winter, I've taken it out and it started fine, drove fine.
Very good oil pressure runs well, stunning looking. Has the latter engine om606 24V DOHC.
Great engine economical and powerful non-turbo easily keeps up with the traffic, unlike a w123.
This model is looked at as the last great Mercedes very advanced in its time,
Has slight bumper scuffs you can see them in my photos
Genuine reason for sale I possibly won't be able to drive next year and I don't have a garage for her.
Lots of the diesel estates were sold cheap in the 00's and used as working cars, this was owned by an elderly gent before me and it avoided that fate.
