1939 MG TA
Owned by my family for 30 years following a major restoration by the previous owner in the 1990s.
Our MG TA is in great condition and has always been garage stored over winter inside a carcoon storage bubble.
Current mileage is just under 11, 500.
In 2007, whilst in our care, the engine had a major £7000 overhaul by the much respected MG specialists Naylor Brothers at 10, 000 miles. All invoices available documenting the work carried out.
Maroon paintwork with tan leather seating and trim.
Black tonneau cover, soft top and side screens.
Fitted with the later 1250cc MG TB XPAG engine and dry clutch for increased reliability and ease of maintenance.
MOT and road tax exempt.
Full collection of historic bills, documentation, parts books, etc.

The MG is very reliable and has covered a low mileage each summer since purchased in 1993. Typically around 100 to 150 miles a year!!!
She now needs to go to a new home who will look after her like we have and get pleasure out of using her.
The new owner should be aware that the tyres are old and will need replacing at some point although the treads are still legal.
There are also some blemishes to the paintwork on both front wings but the underside and edges of both front wings are sound with no signs of rust. Please see the photos.
The storage carcoon is old but works and will be included in the sale, as will all the historic documentation and spare oils/ fluids that I have for the car.
She is currently parked inside the carcoon at my parents, but can be brought out for viewing and demonstration given a few days notice.
The asking price reflects the fact that she is not concours. But she is a solid reliable classic that starts on the button and is not riddled with rust. Drive her as she is or restore her to concours from a great starting point.
