Beschreibung
1989 Landrover 90 Defender, colour Eastnor Green, 164k miles,
new price does not include £400 of spares which include a set of 16 inch alloy wheels.
Please note this is sold as a non running project as it has been unused for approx 5 years, it will need to be collected with a trailer and winch as it will not start - please don't turn up expecting to jump start it.
The previous owner purchased the Landy in 2007 so about 16 years ago and was an enthusiastic owner.
This has had a 200tdi Discovery engine conversion.
There are a lot of invoices from 2007 to 2008 showing it had a gearbox overhaul, drive train overhaul, new fuel tank and suspension upgrades, heavy duty springs, dampers, shock turrets etc, the mileage then was approx 133k. I am told this is when the 200tdi conversion was done, also had bigger wheels and tyres fitted.
There are other invoices about £1800 worth in total not including the engine conversion, there are lots of old mot certificates.
The chassis looks solid apart from a section at the back, the bulkhead condition is good, the rear door has been replaced, I also have the original rear door. Generally above average condition for a nearly 35 year old Landrover.
HPI clear, I have the V5C and all the keys.
The ignition comes on and lights up the dash but it just clicks so probably needs a new solenoid or starter motor, fuel gauge still shows half a tank. Please no timewasters, if you want to view that's fine but it's a trailer job.
