1986 Jaguar XJS coupe

This California supplied XJS V12 HE has stayed in California all of its life prior to travelling to the UK. It has excellent Jet black paint with black leather interior. It sits on newly refurbished kent alloys and looks a million dollars.
It comes with extensive service history from new and has been well looked after by enthusiast owners. It shows 60, 700 miles and there are extensive records to support this as the genuine mileage.
Coming from California, the body is excellent The under bonnet areas is spotless and amongst the best I have seen on an XJS. The interior is very clean, with only one small area of wear on the drivers seat.
There are 4 owners prior to me which includes a mother and son. Now UK registered it be sold with 12 months MOT
It sits on newly refurbished Kent alloys & Falken tyres.

The car was dry stored in California in 2001 and subsequently resurrected by the son of the owner in 2019. I purchased the car in 2020 and imported it into the UK where extensive servicing was performed by Jaguar specialist P&K Thornton in Northampton. The focus was to ensure the car was reliable and roadworthy. Work included suspension and braking overhauls and i have bills to support the expenditure. At this stage the mileage shows as 60, 000.

Work carried out includes:

Cooling:
New radiator, water pump, Evans Waterless Lifetime Coolant, water hoses, Tefba coolant filters, thermostats, stainless air bleed pipes, coolant temp senders, header tank, stainless steel water rails, coolant crossover pipe, belts, electric fan, temp controller, heater core, heater valve, front main seal, AC compressor with ceramic seals, AC hoses, dryer, expansion valve,
Cooling system upgraded with two coolant temp senders: one on each water manifold. A new threaded hole was drilled on an existing boss and an addition sender installed to provide both left and right engine bank temps. A switch is fitted just above the brake booster to select either side.
