This is actually an incredibly rare car. We are led to believe that in fact it could be the only one!
A291 DCD or 'Dora' as we affectionally call her was ordered new by a Director of Triplex Glass in 1984. We were told that at first Jaguar Cars would not build a Manual Daimler Sovereign but the relationship between the two companies meant that it was made to happen.
Upon the his retirement, Dora was transferred to the Directors name where it remained until his sad passing. Classic Motor Cars bought Dora from the family and have owned her for some years. Sadly we have decided to sell on Dora in order to invest in a tow vehicle.
This beautiful Daimler has a factory Sliding Steel Sunroof and is is superb turn key order. We have just completed a full service, MOT and fitted four new tyres in addition to some other mechanical works. All work is documented to accompany its full and comprehensive service history showing that the 47000 miles are indeed genuine.
Dora is all ready to go and be enjoyed, and will of course be sold with our CMC warranty.
