This Vauxhall has just arrived with us from the gentleman who has owned it for the past 18 years. During his ownership he carried out a full rebuild and it has since seen continuous maintenance over the years. The history file that comes with the car is extensive and shows many thousands of pounds that have been spent. It also comes with all its original handbooks and manuals.
The car is very sound and has no rust issues, with excellent chassis and floors. The bodywork again is in good solid condition. The paintwork however does have some micro blistering that shows close up. It’s still very presentable as the pictures show. I have included a couple of pictures to try and show close ups, but it is very difficult to describe in detail. Please be very clear though, that this car is no rot box, just a nice usable car and they don’t often come up for under £10k.
We have been out on road test with it today and it runs and drives beautifully, the smooth 6 cylinder performing very well with no untoward noise and nothing of note that needs attention. There is a bill in the history file for heavy waxoyling in all the cavities including doors, this has clearly done its job well.
The interior is all tidy and in great condition for its age. Whitewall radial tyres compliment the colour scheme very well
