After 2 years of restoration the car is now completely sorted. With over 40, 000 spent to bring her back to pristine condition. She's had a bare metal re-spray ( by renowned classic car specialists Greenwoods of Chorley)
New parts fitted sills, wheel arches, Brake lines, complete exhaust system, new chrome exhaust tail, new radiator, fuel pump, upgraded electronic ignition, master cylinder, new rear chrome bumper, new tyres all round.
Leather interior renovated to as new condition by esteemed Connolly Leather Renovator Stephen Merret of Leathercare Ltd. The car is now in concour condition.
All servicing work carried out by Chris Catterall Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Specialist.
Features AC, fully adjustable electric front seats, and cruise control ( not bad for a 1975 car)
It's a series 1 which in my opinion is by far the most classy & prettiest looking Shadow with the chrome bumpers.
I have all original service history.
The car was originally owned for just 12 months before the 2nd owner bought the car and owned her for the next 45 years! I have original photos of Mr Grossi pictured with his baby son sat on the bonnet, and another with Mr Grossi, his son and baby Grandson sat on the bonnet.
When I bought the car it was still in good mechanical order but needed a lot of bodywork to get back to showroom condition. It's now about as perfect as can be.
The Price I know this is a difficult one as it's hard to tell until you see it. I've spent close to 40k on the car in the past 2 years but for me this was more about saving and renovating the car back to as close to perfection as possible.
