This is a completely restored 912 which looks and drives beautifully.
It is a truly iconic Porsche car and increasingly rare 912 model, and one of a very few number restored to this concours level.
Matching engine and chasis numbers 1967 Porsche 912, SWB model coupe with 5 dial option and 4 gears. LHD. x5 original Fuchs alloys, original Porsche white colour.
Left hand drive model - may favour an international buyer.

Complete documented specialist engine rebuild (2012-2014).
Bare metal respray in original colour - Light Ivory 6604.
Majority of chromework has been re-chromed (triple layer).
5 new classic Vredestein period tyres.
All new glass rubbers.
Period radio with aux for iPhone.
Electric ariel (works when radio switched on).
New headlining.
New dash cover
New carpet througout - period German Perlon.
New period windscreen with green tinted sun strip at top.
New sun visors.
New period style leather upholstery front and back.
Door cards replaced and rear vinyl side trim.
New seat belts - upgraded.
Period wooden Nardi steering wheel (original Porsche steering wheel available and included).
Refurbished chrome trim below the doors included but not applied.
New wiring.
Engine immobiliser switch (hidden under dash) with red warning light.
3 sets of keys.
Dash refurbished to bare metal and sprayed in original colour in 356 style.
The car was imported from California in 2005.
It was built for export to USA and delivered to Bob Smith Porsche & Volkswagen on Cahuenga Boulevard, Hollywood, California on 14 April 1967. It stayed in the dry State of California until 2005.
I have original paperwork showing matching numbers engine/ chasis, and the original 912 logbook/ service book and also the cashiers receipt from the California Dept of Motor Vehicles dated 21 April 1967 which presumably slipped behind the dash in the 60s and I found behind the dashboard when it was removed in 2013!

Car has been kept in a humidity controlled garage since restoration and used regularly. Less than 4000 miles since engine rebuild.
It was featured on a display stand at the 1st London Classic Car Show at Excel Centre in January 2015.
