This is a 1958 "upgraded" Frog Eye Sprite. Originally a LHD car imported from California in 2016 by the elderly previous owner.
Recent upgrades include: front disc brake conversion (all new components), new master cylinders, brake shoes, slave cylinders and handrake assembly, new hi efficiency radiator, twin SU's overhauled, dynamo overhauled, ignition system overhauled, new tyres on Minilite alloy wheels, complete re-trim including boot area, all new chrome work and badges, inertia reel seat belts, front anti roll bar kit, new rear springs, new battery, 1275cc engine and rib cased gearbox fitted, and converted to RHD. Rust free bodyshell with original steel bonnet fitted to car. Drives very well and on the button. There is currently no hood or hood frame with the car but these items are readily available and can be included at extra cost to a purchaser.
I rescued the car from an elderly gentleman who had completed some of the work above but had then run out of steam to complete it. I planned for my daughter to use it in the summer months but she moved away to study 18 months ago so it's not being used and enjoyed.
