1994 SL280 inline 6 engines. 82K genuine miles. Now 30 years old it defies its age, always admired at events. Fully original with all original accessories, radio/ warning triangle/ wind deflector/ original tool kit with extras & emergency roof tool/ first aid kit/ extinguisher/ full alloy spare wheel/ breakdown kit/ indoor-outdoor covers/ some Mercedes related memorabilia/ magazines (if required). Portfolio of documents/ history MOT's, service book, all hand books in leather folder. Runs and drives with no issues, very smooth solid car, lots of power and quite economical to run. I have owned since 2015 and kept a running log of any work done. Always garaged, well maintained and cared for. It will increase in value. I have pitched at a more than reasonable price, due to other adventures (travel etc) I cannot give it the time it deserves. I think it is a bargain. This is a genuine sale, I do not need the money so I could keep, but it would hardly go out which is tragic. I spent 2 years looking for the right car and specifically wanted an SL280 in red, I have had all the grunt cars and wanted something well-built and refined. I have been more than delighted driving it, attending MBC and local events. I have really enjoyed tinkering/ detailing the car which has been part of the fun for me. I love the fact that it is original something that is fast becoming very popular in the classic world. This car will give you a lot of pleasure. Please consider it is a 30-year-old car, although cherished it is an old car and it has some quirks, however it is way beyond some of the modern cars currently on the roads. I have had many cars over the years, TVR's, Porsche, MG's etc. This car is truly the one that ticks all the boxes for me, driving, style, just something about it that has a feel-good factor it is also the first car that my wife looks forward to going out in.
