original motor, was bored out to 3. 8L at least 35yrs. ago.. 5 speed manual. 3. 45:1 diff head fitted (same as a mk. 2 ratio).

80mph = around 3, 000 rpm.

The motor is rather amazing.. I have owned lots of jags over the years..(am 69yrs. old).... this donkey purrs.. and can idle, once started, cold at 100rpm... never had a motor in a jag , ever so smooth n quiet. But she growls when under foot.. twin exhausts.. straight thru mufflers.
Original roof lining, tidy relined boot. Original leather seats.. not the 'nasty vynal'.. yuck!
comes with the original flock shag over carpet for rear, original box with some spare parts in it... original radio too!
My Mk. 7 goes like a rocket, original , love the walnut dash, and the smooth running motor. Have owned many jags, and this one is my favorite, but now lacking room, with other classics, and she needs a new owner.
