Restored 1986 Suzuki GSXR 750G Showroom Condition
This rare 1986 GSXR 750 has gone through a full nut & bolt restoration, literally everything has been rebuilt or inspected, this was a complete bike so not built from bits and pieces of other bikes, originated in Wales and I have copies of all the registration docs from original registration through to today. Original plastic fairings and screen. The only part missing was the original Suzuki exhaust, this has now been fitted, the bike came with a period after market system which will be sold with the bike along with a Clymer and Haynes manual & bike cover. I started this project in 2014, has been completed now for around 3 years. I am not a biker but have been involved in motorsport for some 45 years having restored several historic race cars over this time, so the bike is built to a high standard. The Bike has been stored in a dry workshop environment so is as good as the day it was finished. I would like someone to really enjoy this bike, enter shows etc . I have lots of pics of the restoration so please don't hesitate to ask for more info. In 2 years time the bike will be exempt from Tax and MOT .... You will not be disappointed with the standard of build.
The GSXR-750 was one of the first sports bike to hit the market, the 86 model had slight improvements over the 85 version which included a longer swinging arm, this improved stability.
I have an original sales brochure and a full record of previous owners included in a folder full of receipts for the build, the sale includes a show information board as seen in the pictures.
