The SL 400 is powered by a twin turbo V6 engine producing 328bhp and 354lb ft of torque giving this car an incredible turn of speed completing the 0 – 60 dash in just 5. 2 secs and thundering on to a limited top speed of 155mph whilst always remaining civilised and smooth. The V6 also offers excellent fuel economy with Mercedes official figures giving a 36 mpg on the combined cycle.
