Description
Harris Rotax Race Bike A very rare motorcycle, this race bike was produced by Red Rocket Racing using a Harris frame, 250cc Rotax (rotary induction) single cylinder engine, Marzocchi suspension and Astralite wheels. Only a couple of these machines were hand built for top motorcycles Grand Prix racer Alex George. This bike was raced in the National Championship by the vendor, where it took 3rd place. The proceeds of the sale has been kindly donated by the vendor, retired motorcycle racer Mr. Ted Edwards, to the Isle of Man Manx Emergency Helicopter Fund. This invaluable charity service provide an emergency helicopter to gain swift medical assistance to injured riders across the Isle of Man TT and Manx TT circuit. Offered at No Reserve and sold to the highest bidder on the day.
