1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

Here we have my 1955 Chevy Bel Air for sale.
Genuine Bel Air with the correct dash and trim.
350 small block with a 4 barrel Edelbrock fitted. Runs absolutely faultlessly, recently covering a 550 mile trip.
Just carried out an oil and filter change.
Brand new Patriot headers fitted (done less than a 100 miles) and then had custom made link pipes made. This makes the exhaust sit nice and tight against the chassis so no ground clearance issues.
3 on the tree gearbox which works fantastically, pulls out of roundabouts in 3rd gear and sits comfortably on the motorway at 60/ 65mph.
2 inch lowering springs at the front.
17 inch American racing wheels with good tyres.
Everything works as it should.
Bodywork wise is presentable and polishes up nice but no show winner. Was blue previously and this shows in a couple of places. The rear bumper could do with a re chrome as it’s scratched. Behind the rear bumper the paint is starting to lift. Having said that this is a really solid, good looking, usable, drive anywhere car. I take it to work, to the supermarket and to the pub.
It’s recently had a lot of new parts fitted including:
Brake disc up grade consisting of calipers, brackets, discs, pads, brake master cylinder and new brake lines.
New fuel tank and Fuel Sender
New bearings in rear axle and powder coated
New aluminium radiator
Front shocks and 2 inch lowered springs
Rear shocks and springs
Edelbrock Carb
Front sway bar modification
New alternator
New headers and link pipes
It’s really does drive well, the new owner wouldn’t be disappointed. The 55s are getting sort after and climbing in value so buy one while you can!
