A truly remarkable XJ6 4. 2 Long Wheelbase, available directly from Jaguar Classic. Delivered new from the factory in May 1976, it's first owner took delivery of the car from the Jaguar dealer at Weybridge in Surrey a month later. Finished in British Racing Green with a matching Moss Green leather interior the car is in outstanding condition. It has covered a mere thirty-seven thousand miles from new, substantiated by a most incredible service history file.
The cars first owner covered just under twenty thousand miles in the eleven years that he owned it for. A further three owners between 1987 and 2022 covered just sixteen thousand miles between them. In this time the car was serviced fastidiously, as well as being entered in many concours competitions. The car is in fabulous unrestored condition, the body has been repainted at some stage in its factory colour of British Racing Green, whilst the interior is still original and in excellent condition.
The service history file that accompanies the car contains MOT certificates dating back to 1987 as well as servicing invoices, hand-written mileage logs, sales documentation, brochures and a Heritage Certificate issued by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. Prepared by our own workshop here at Jaguar Classic, and supplied with a 12 month warranty.
