1998 Nissan Skyline

The previous meticulously maintained and restored this car with the intention of keeping it original in appearance with minor performance modifications to improve the drivability and enjoyment.
Skyline has always been dry stored indoors in my workshop with no wet weather driving.
In winter of 2018 he sent the Skyline to a local Bodyshop, Ashey Road Garage who have a great reputation for attention to detail and finish who undertook a full exterior Restoration with no expense spared. All parts and panels were removed from the vehicle, any minor repairs carried out and various parts replaced including new passenger door, boot lid, fuel filler cap, GT wing badges, 25GT-t rear gel badge, door and boot rubbers, windscreen and rear screen rubbers which were all sourced direct from Nissan. Full exterior respray was then carried out in original KR4 Sonic Silver with all body parts, door shuts, boot shut, inner wings and rear panel behind bumper painted. Windscreen was also replaced for brand new when reassembly was carried out. Total cost of over £10k for all parts, materials and labour.
Once collected from Bodyshop the car was machine polished the Paintwork to flawless condition then applied a 5 year Ceramic Coating (May 2019).
Angelwax Nebula Graphene Infused Ceramic Coating. This coating is designed to last between 5 and 8 years and comes with a 5 year manufacturers warranty included. New coating was applied on 11th July 2023.
Car then went a restoration, removed all parts from the underbody up to the gearbox, Stripped back to bare metal, any light corrosion etched back and treated with a rust converting primer, all underbody was then etched primed, seam sealed, stone chip primer applied to all vulnerable areas, top coated with body colour Sonic Silver then rubberised underseal applied to all arches, boot floor and main floor. Rear Subframe, front and rear hubs, brake shields and heat shield sandblasted and painted. Rear Driveshafts Stripped, cleaned, painted regreased and reassembled with new CV boots. Differential painted, Fluid drained and topped up with new LSD oil. Reassembly was carried out with a completely new suspension setup with all components being replaced for new (Parts listed in spec list).
