Running, driving and stopping. These old completely mechanical (other than the starter wire and glow plugs) engines are known for reliability and reach great milage. They average at about 30mpg. You won't be going anywhere in a rush in this old girl but you'll look cool no matter where you're going!

She is 53 years old so please don't come expecting a show room car. She is however straight and genuine with need of love in areas. It has a hole on the drivers side sill at the rear but don't stress! There's 2 Brand new sill panels to go with the car. The boot is full of spares including but not limited to rear lights and lesnes , one front light (i think theres just one?), some clean chrome goodies including a front grille surround and some light surrounds along with a spare set of wheel trims. Looking online these parts alone would fetch £400-500 but are being sold with the car and the new owner can decide what he or she would like to do with them.
The car has had a new battery with warranty.

At idle the engine rumbles so needs a set of engine mounts (it really just needs the passenger side but you may as well do both)
Maybe a set of carpets if you're fussed? It has the passenger and one rear carpet already just missing the other 2.
So to conclude. You are buying an on-the-road project, she starts runs drives turns brakes and if you've got a long enough piece of road will be able to get you up to 80mph eventually! The logbook will be in my name.
