1982 3 door non-sunroof 1. 6 GTi series 2 Mk1 Golf - Over £25, 000 spent on parts/ interior. I bought this car as a rolling chassis in 2011 and have put a huge amount of time and effort into building it into what it is now. It took a long time to find, it needed minimal metal work to restore, I have lots of photos of the whole build for the new owner on a USB memory device. It’s been fully stripped, rolled over on a jig and re-sprayed in Volkswagen Rising Blue metallic everywhere.

It sits on genuine VW stamped BBS RM 012 wheels, centres painted gloss black with the original polished lips and Michelin tyres. Includes a set of gold and a set of silver genuine BBS bolts for the wheels. G60 steel wheels are used for storage to clear the brakes, these are included with a like new set of tyres.

It's overall in very good condition and is tax, ULEZ and MOT exempt. The engine and total build has a little under 500 miles on it, mapping will be needed after 500 more miles of break in driving and an oil and filter change. It will then see 300bhp or more, with the assistance of the Wavetrac limited slip diff, it should be a superb fast road/ show/ track car.
