Mercedes Benz 240D 3. 0
Very nice Mercedes with known history from new, also registered on the Finnish Museum register.
This vehicle was sold new in Oulu, Finland on 06. 01. 1975., it was then sold on 09. 01. 1978 to its second owner from Kuopio.
It then changed owner again on 20. 05. 1985 and was used until 1991. The number plates were then returned to the registration office and the vehicle was removed from traffic use, this was common back then to not have to pay taxes if the vehicle is not to be used for a long period of time.
For many years it was left unused in storage until resold in 2019, and in need of some TLC. It was given a good service and repainted, also registered again for road use.
The current owner purchased the vehicle in 2021. He started to bring the vehicle back to its original condition by fixing the interior and any other defects that needed addressing, it was then ready for the Museum registry inspection in 2022.
