- Ordered new from Franco Britannic by Yves Saint Laurent in July 1974, this Silver Shadow has had only three owners to date; that same year, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé set up their fashion house at 5 avenue Marceau in Paris
- In the hands of its current owner since 1991, this Silver Shadow was initially ordered in a special optional colour, Chicassion Blue, with dark brown leather upholstery, as attested by the copy of the purchase invoice and the warranty certificate contained in its file
- Repainted in the days of Yves Saint Laurent in a dark green metallic, it retains its beautifully patinated original upholstery; a chronic ailment on this model, some corrosion is on the rear wings, although this is not particularly serious (condition report available on request)
- We were astounded by the way it ran, both mechanically and in terms of driving comfort, highlighting the model's undeniable road-going qualities
