Since purchasing the car, I have recently visited hospital for an MRI scan and all my past injuries at 78 years of age mean that I am to enjoy the car. My plan was to find a genuine unmolested car that was original and rust free with low ownership. This car is a one owner + a dealer with now myself so was the prefect example for me.

All original with no welding and rust free
Oselli reconditioned engine at some time during it's life
Overdrive gearbox
Original interior still in good condition including headlining
Whilst fitted with a Weber carb, included in the sale is the original twin SU carbs
New twin 12 volt battery conversion for reliable starting
New brakes
Drives very well. Whilst I was prepared to bring the car up to show standard, it is totally acceptable as it is being a rarer mark 1 and also sensibly priced.
Chrome, whilst original could do with re-chroming
Paintwork is totally acceptable having had a respray some years ago
I am selling the car at less than I paid for it
These Mark1 cars are now becoming more collectible as they are the first version
