1978 Opel Kadett Coupe Superb original condition!

Beautiful Dutch Kadett coupé in very original condition. The C Kadett was then the best-selling car in the Netherlands and the coupé was the most exclusive version. Currently almost impossible to find in an original untouched condition.

The Kadett has been professionally repainted in the past in the original colour "Brillant Orange" and the quality of the paintwork is of a high standard. The paint looks sleek with a deep gloss. The colour looks very nice on the car, it really is a 70s classic. The doors close like a safe and the seams are nice and small and straight. Everything feels very solid, as if the car is only a few years old. The underside and floor, by the way, is rock hard and bone dry. The original sports rims with chrome decorative rings are fitted with 175/ 70 tyres, which looks great on the car.

The interior is completely original and a real time capsule. The striped fabric upholstery is completely undamaged including the skai parts and headrests. The original dashboard, steering wheel and sky are completely undamaged and that after 46 years.

The indestructible 1196 cc engine needs no introduction. The engine has been recently tuned and starts excellently both cold and hot. This little four-cylinder is and proven all-rounder and very reliable. Just like the gearbox by the way; it shifts very smoothly and without a single creak. The C Kadett came from the era of Deutsche gründlichkeit; well-built, comfortable and without frills.
