Mechanics:
* Please note this is a left-hand drive (which is fab for Euro-trips!)
* Currently SORNED as it is kept off-road in London.
* MOT passed with no issues in July 2023.
* Over 102, 000 miles on the clock but had gearbox replaced less than two years ago. 1. 6 air-cooled engine running on unleaded petrol
* Gearbox refurbished and replaced in 2022 with a VW Beetle gearbox (we can provide all paperwork for this)
* Full engine service, main and leisure battery replaced and CV joints replaced in 2022.
* Panel has warning lights for engine temperature
* Scorpion immobiliser fitted with key fob.
Exterior:
* Classic red and white bodywork
* Includes classic features such as white bumpers, VW spare-tyre cover etc.
* Classic pop-top roof with grey canvas and black edge trim. The roof needs to be repaired or replaced and has tearing to the lining (we never got round to doing this as always use it in the warmer or milder months where the tears made no difference).
* Wipers with intermittent, regular and double speed function plus electric screen wash-wipe
Interior:
* 2 forward-facing travelling seats at the back which slide out to make the ‘rock and roll’ bed (which sleeps two adults).
* Driver and passenger seats are refurbished, adjustable beige seats.
* On the driver's side is the 2-ring gas hob, with a grill underneath, supplied by the gas bottle located underneath.
* 12v socket and leisure battery which can be hooked up to mains
* Fitted with cold water pump tap and an aluminium sink with drain to underside of camper
* Full storage under the rock and roll bed, as well as easy-lock cupboards on the drivers-side
We're sadly selling our 2002 Brazillian, VW T2 Bay Campervan as we’re moving away from the UK.
This camper van was handed down from my dad to me about 6 years ago and has had major upgrades done to the gearbox and mechanics in 2022.
