I've had this car just over a year now. I bought it as I have a terrible affliction for GTVs, this being my 3rd. I knew it needed a little work but I like the 2. 0 litre cars and I wanted another to put my registration plate on (The registration A174GTV is NOT included in the sale by the way, not unless you make me a wildly different offer above the asking price - it will revert back to it's original registration on sale). It's been a fun project getting it back to where it should be but there's no profit in it for me. I'll have another at some point but it's time for this one to find it's new owner. The photographs are after a wash while it was drying off, not a major paint defect :-)

The car is in Sutton and can be viewed here but unless you're very very serious no test drives as it's not taxed (Insured and MOT'd obviously), and is subject to the ULEZ charge where I live. If you want to have it delivered then if you meet my asking price i'll make a significant contribution to the transport costs.

Good things
• All 4 keys are included
• All the original book pack is there
• History going back to 2008
• In my year i've replaced two wheel bearings and all the brake lines in addition to replacing trim parts to get it looking good again
• Has had a respray 3 years ago so the paint is generally good
• The sunroof doesn't leak and does open and close smoothly
• All the electrics work (Except the "Always-broken" rear de-mister)
• 12 months MOT - look for T992RGJ
• Had all belts and pump changed 4 years and 5k miles ago
• 4 matched Dunlop SportResponse tyres with at least 5mm across each tyres width
• A set of hard to find and expensive badges are included should you wish to finish the car off
• There is no seatbelt buckle damage to the doors - pretty unique in my experience
• I'm open to sensible offers in return for an easy sale.
• Had a quality new battery recently and I can confirm it holds a charge, without use for at least 3 months so no drain.

Bad things
• The A174GTV plate is NOT included
• Paint is not perfect as there have been some stone chips and a scuff or two but the photographs don't lie. It's better than the vast majority of red cars out there.
• I can't fathom the oil leak on the MOT as it doesn't drop anything on the garage floor. I guess its a tiny leak somewhere on the engine but my MOT guys are pretty strict so there must be something visible.
• The immobiliser works but I think the alarm may have been disconnected at some point, OR the remote fobs are not working.
