REASONABLE OFFERS WELCOME - The loss of garaging means I reluctantly need to sell my 1956 Renault 4CV. Originally purchased in France, I have owned and enjoyed this car for over 20 years. This is a LEFT HAND DRIVE CAR. It has been extensively restored and comes with a good history file that includes bills and Controle Technique history (French MOT).
Much work has been done over the years including a full engine rebuild, new radiator, new interior, new kingpin bushes, a full bare metal respray with removal of any rust and replacement with new metal, and a new Lucas battery 3 weeks ago.
It comes with a rare original roof rack and a spare gearbox.
The 4CV used to be kept in France at my parents home and I used it on many classic car rallies around France over the years. Now back in the UK it has not been used much over the past 5 years. It is easy and great fun to drive, has a rear seatbelt fitted which was fitted to enable my young son to join in the rallies and has never let me down - I will be very sad to say goodbye.

The bodywork remains in excellent condition while some of the chrome is showing its age. Parts are easily obtained from several specialists.
