An interesting Ulster replica built in 2013 using an early 1930 chassis with similar vintage running gear. The aluminium replica body dates from the early 1970's and had never been fitted to a chassis prior to 2013. The car is VSCC eligible and would be suitable for a wide range of competition use. It is currently set up for road or trial use but could easily be lowered for hillclimbing or sprints.
The car has a correct fold flat windscreen, full dashboard with ARP instruments, correct seats and having a deep tail is very comfortable for touring, as well as having excellent space in the tail for luggage. It has been driven to the Isle of Man twice and also used for long distance runs.

Down draught SU carb on Dante manifold. Correct Ulster 3 branch exhaust manifold. SU electric fuel pump from stainless steel scuttle mounted fuel tank.
Gearbox: Andy Bird built 3 speed with 'Andes' ratios ( CR 2nd)
!2v electrics with rewound dynamo and solid state regulator. New battery.
A well sorted Ulster replica put together using the correct period parts. The 50 year old body looks more original than most 'original' Ulsters. It is not a shiny concourse car, but a good strong
car ideal for touring or as a VSCC competition car.
