1938 Austin Ten Cambridge

Thanks for all the offers, but I can't take any offers starting with a 4, as I have over £8k invested in the car. Four more weeks and it will be going back into storage until next year.

If my car does sell by the end of May it will go back into storage untilnext year. £1000's spent already, a nice useable prewar car.

Bought from the previous owner who owned the car since the mid 80’s. He was the second owner of the car from new and spent 30 years restoring it. He did a complete body off restoration (for which I have photos) but tried to keep as much of the car as original as possible. I believe the car to have matching numbers, the original interior (the drivers seat has been repaired), the original number plate, and the original chrome. Originally black but is now blue over black and has been fitted with a later dynamo. I have the original fan, pulley, and dynamo (not working), which are included in the sale, along with books and a box of parts and tools. Recored radiator fitted recently (original core radiator included in the sale) new hoses and bottom elbow recently fitted. Flasing semaphores, spare petrol pump and rebuild kit, dipping headlight kit, and spare gearbox included. Working fuel gauge and refurbished speedo and new speedo cable, speedo fitted this week. New carpet set, fitted easter 2024, and headling in beautiful condition. New rubber gearbox cover fitted recently, new plugs, points, HT leads, condenser, new battery and fan belt fitted. There are no signs of rust anywhere on the car, and it is very solid underneath. Paint and chrome, are not perfect, but very presentable. Was on Bangers and Cash recently! I paid £7250, for which I have receipts, and I have spent over £1000 during my ownership. The car is very useable, and I've tried to be as accurate as possible in my description.
