1993 Porsche 928 GTS

Would like to mention that the pictures used for the advert where prior to Front end paint being done and new tires etc as mentioned below, so any marks you may see are no longer on the front end.

We are considering selling but mainly gauging interest as we have our eye on something else.

Anyone that knows 928's will know that the GTS is the pinnacle of 928's with a larger engine and flared rear arches it looks amazing. We have owned multiple 928's long term so would consider ourselves enthusiasts, but the GTS was always a bucket list car for us to own and we have thoroughly enjoyed it over the past 5 years or so.

We where specifiaclly looking for a Midnight blue GTS as in our opinion its the best colour and looks stunning, was a bonus to find one with very rare star ruby leather interior which we have never seen another one in person, looks brilliant. Also benefits from very rare rear air conditioning which you usually only find on US/ UA spec cars so another very rare feature.

Overall its presented very well and has benefitted from a full respray previously, with the front end just recently being fully resprayed, so no stone chips etc on the front which 928's suffer from.

Interior is mint and the Star ruby looks great, steering wheel would benefit from being re stained but generally very presentable for the age of the car, all interior electrics working, with original boot load cover and heated seats, sunroof etc its very well specced.

Mechanically drives without fault and pulls strong and sounds great with the RMB exhaust, sounds just right. Engine was rebuilt by Paul Anderson which if you know about 928's I'm sure you have heard of him, has been faultless in our ownership and has never let us down, bills nearing 10, 000 for the engine works.

As many know about 928's they do not like to be stood up for long periods of time, this is when mechanical and electric gremlins can start to make an appearance, this GTS has always been in regular use with us using almost daily at times without fault and the previous owner using the car to travel to and from their property in Switzerland meaning the car has done 164, 000 miles but being rebuilt around 100, 000 miles. We are in the 928 club and many cars in the club have over 200, 000 on them comfortably without being rebuilt etc

We have 6 binders full of history and paperwork and magazine features etc its been very well cared for over the years with no expense spared.

Unfortunately it has been recorded Cat due to flood damage many years ago, this did not put us off and will not put off any serious 928 enthusiasts due to all the works being carried out professionally by Paul Anderson and was simply written off due to the expense involved at the time and 928 values previously being low.

As mentioned above, we are in no rush to sell the car and will keep it if we do not receive offers very close to the asking price, with 928 values increasing quickly especially GTS models.

Private registration 400FPA can stay with the car if we are happy with the price.
