Benefiting from an £18, 500 major revision by North Yorkshire’s LR Custom Works team, resulting in a Defender that not only looks good, but is incredible to drive too.
Many of the upgrades are subtle, even hidden, but make such a huge difference. Almost £5, 000 was spent on comprehensive soundproofing, another £1, 320 on security hinges, plus over £1, 000 on a TDi engine remap.
It also features favourable extras from Defender custom specialist 'Twisted', including 18" Sport alloys with BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres, upgraded brakes and a Momo Millenium steering wheel.
Optioned in Corris grey metallic with a contrasting Santorini black metallic roof and bonnet, gloss black 'Brunel' grille and headlight surrounds, black side steps, ‘LR’ steering guard and ‘LR Custom Works’ rear plaque.
LED main headlights and daytime running lights, plus a pair of Wipec spotlights.
A Sony touchscreen infotainment unit provides Smartphone (Apple and Android) compatibility, with a reversing camera built in.
This 110 XS has the Premium seating upgrade in Ebony & Lunar (black & grey) leather across all 7 seats. Throughout its life, the seats have been protected by covers, the rears rarely ever being used. The headlining and sun visors have an Alcantara type finish.
Other options include a sunroof, heated front seats, air conditioning, front & rear parking sensors, full height dog guard, rear step, tow hitch and heated front and rear screens with rear wipe.
Supplied in February 2016 by Roger Young Land Rover in Cornwall, serviced in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. Extensive Dinitrol underside and cavity protection applied approximately 5, 000 miles ago.
