1979 MG MGB GT

This lovely MGB GT was first registered in September 1979 which makes it one of the last ones produced. I think White is by far the best colour for the later black bumper cars. The body of this car is very straight with very good door shut lines and a very good paint finish. It has the stainless steel sill finishers which add a little bling to the car. These are purely cosmetic and not there to cover up nasty sills! The car sits on original good condition Rostyle wheels complete with stainless steel embellisher wheel rims and a matching set of almost new tyres. There are a nice pair of chrome door mirrors and the upgraded headlights. The underside of the car is also in very good condition with a nice coat of Stone chip paint (not thick underseal) to protect it. The boot area is nice and clean and houses a spare Rostyle and even the original jack, tools and bag. The interior is excellent with all black door trims, seats and carpets. All in very good condition. The roof lining is like new. There is a beautiful Mota Lita steering wheel with an old MG centre boss and some extra electrics for your sat nav, phones etc. A pair of inertia seat belts complete the interior. Engine bay is again clean and tidy (but not perfect) and the engine has a pair of K & N air filters fitted. It has an good working overdrive gearbox and a strong engine that together get the car down the road with some gusto! In the last year the car has made two long journeys to the North of England with no troubles. The mileage is showing 70500 miles which could well be correct but I cant warrant that figure. The car is now Road Tax and MOT exempt but does have an MOT till 19th October 2024. All in all a very nice looking and driving MGB.
