1998 Gen 1 all original 3. 4 litre 6 speed manual M030 suspension coupe finished in Arctic Silver, LSD and cable throttle with 73975 miles from new, Black leather sports interior with heated hard back sport seats and electric sunroof. Registered on 1st August 1998 and supplied by Stratstone Porsche, Wilmslow. The car has the all-important Amber indicators and rare headlamp washers. To me the silver colour and amber lights is the perfect combination and looks stunning.
Full-service history from either Porsche main agent or independent Porsche specialist, all manuals and handbooks present with 2 keys and lots of receipts etc. to review. MOT due August 2024.
The bodywork is in fabulous condition and the interior is in great condition with only very minor age related wear, in fact the rear seats look unused. All electric windows and sunroof work as they should, radio CD player all work and original Porsche head unit installed.
In the front trunk, the spare wheel, and all tools etc are present, all-in excellent condition,
The car is a pleasure to drive, been 100% reliable, still fast with 300BHP yet surprisingly economical on long runs. Always warmed up properly and only run on E5 fuel. I use it for car shows and events with the Porsche club as well as other car related events. A head turner and always someone wanting to talk to you about it.
At 25 years old the 996 has definitely come of age and the ‘fried egg’ headlights are an iconic part of the first water cooled design, these early M030 versions are in demand and the one’s to have.

New discs and pads all round, all 4-wheel refurbishment and new tyres to the rear, engine mounts and serpentine belt as well as front suspension overhaul of bump stops, bearings and dust bellows.
Just had a minor service completed 15/ 03/ 2024 by independent Porsche specialist so she’s ready to go and enjoy for the classic car season kicking off next month.
Previously to my purchase the PO had spent 000’s on new rear suspension coffin arms all round, rear anti roll bar and drop links and new Dansk rear exhaust back boxes supplied and fitted by Autowerks Porsche specialist.
The manual 996 C2 m030 with dual row IMS is a perfect modern classic and the lightest water cooled 911 @ 1320Kg. Use it at weekends or as a daily driver its perfect at both.
These M030 manual cars are rare and very desirable and a great investment with values only going one way and at 25 years old can now be exported duty free should you wish to. The only reason I am very reluctantly selling it is because I had the opportunity to buy a friend’s 996 C4S I’ve lusted over and an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. My wife won’t let me keep 2 996’s!!
