Actually a Peugeot D4b, (notD3a)Food truck, promotion car or easy conversion to a day van
Custom built as the fire appliance for the central French town of Chattilon sur Indre where it remained in Service until the 90s, it was lightly restored when it came to the UK in the early part of the century (magazine article to Support), then spent some time in the Humber region as a classic display vehicle. It was bought in2014 as a spare van for a fast explaining catering business and was used to support a fleet of ubiquitous Citroen vans, it could be configured for crêpes and coffee, burger, set up, milkshakes, in other words, it could be easily adapted to suit
It was fully restored in 2014, which included bodywork and mechanical, since that time, it is only travelled 2000 miles, it is currently configured as a rear operating coffee van with an Astoria dual fuel lever coffee machine and a Mazzer major Grinder . All the plumbing is in place and it was used recently at an art centre where it performed fine, inside the van is a Zanussi side-by-side fridge freezer, and plenty of room for carrying stock, Supplies and equipment.
Could easily be reverted to a van or a funky day van .
Recent works include general service two new tyres and a master cylinder, treated yearly with Lanoguard and had only done 2000 miles in 10yrs of ownership
The vehicle is located in South Devon
Bought for adaption as a catering van (and because I loved it)
