1942 Harley Davidson WLA

Harley Davidson full rebuild with 95% original parts. Bike was bought as a barn find in completely disassembled condition and was rebuilt over an 18 month period using all original parts available and minimal repo parts.
Repo parts include: wiring loom, oil lines, tyres, seat, handlebars & headlight bowl. All other parts are original and reconditioned.
Bike has been professionally painted in enamel drab green with a satin finish, however, enamel paint was chosen to enable the bike to be olive green drab by giving the bike a wet sand - my preference is the satin.
Bike benefits from a hand-operated clutch as well as the foot clutch which in my opinion makes for a safer, easier ride, however, for the purists the WLA wasn't fitted with one.
Tyres are new genuine Firestone ANS, engine and gearbox has had complete rebuild carried out by professional as has the original generator and carburettor. Generator has been upgraded to a 2 brush generator and an electronic ignition. Original speedo has been refurbished.
Bike has had approx 150-170 running miles completed with minimal issues.
