1974 Triumph Trident T 150 V

1974 Triumph Trident 150V, built on 2nd September 1974, and exported the USA. The bike was brought back to the UK in February 1991, and sold to a Mr Scully of Leeds. He kept the bike until July 2016, when my father bought it from him. This is obviously a USA spec bike with the much nicer tear dop tank, and at some point, the tank has been painted in Hurricane colours.

There is a large file of documents showing what my father and the previous owner spent on the bike, which runs into the thousands of pounds. The cylinder head, and the bottom end have been completely re-built by Peckett & McNab Motorcycles, who are one of the leading Trident experts in the UK. Another barrel was sourced, one liner was replaced, and new pistons and rings were fitted. Since then the bike has done less than 1, 000 miles.

The bike is in excellent condition all round and is fitted with an American 3 into one exhaust system. The is also a second exhaust system which come with the bike, which is also 3 into one, but this one is stainless steel. An electronic ignition is fitted, the carburettors have recently been re-built, and the front forks overhauled.

The bike comes with a V5c in my fathers name, a build certificate from the TR3OC, and a file full of receipts and history.
