Body & Paintwork
The pearl white paintwork on this RS6 presents very well indeed, with only a couple of very small touch ins. This is being ultra fussy but also we are very honest with our descriptions as all of our customers would agree.
The black pack with the white looks brilliant, subtle yet aggressive.
The RS6 of each generation has looked great, however the C7 is arguably one of the best looking, with its flared arches & purposeful stance & look. Certainly if it was in your mirror you would know it means business. However it still has a classy look about it, especially in white, it is not shouting too much for all to see.
All paint reads to be original on the paint depth gauge, wheels are in superb original condition as are all the badges, all trims & of course the glass.
Privacy glass was optioned when new, along with the red calipers, black pack, matrix headlights & various other items which help make it look all that more special.
Interior & Trim
The interior of this car still looks absolutely fantastic.
Obviously the first thing you notice with this car is the stunning Super Sports Seats, which are all in beautiful condition.
Original floor mats are of course still in place, all switches work as they should & none of them are showing signs of wear.
The carbon fibre interior trims are without any cracks or damage, steering wheel & pedals are without usual signs of wear, the interior really is in superb order throughout.
Engine
If you are familiar with the Audi RS wagons of years gone by, then you will know that the party piece has always been, great practicality, great driving dynamics & supercar performance.
The C7 RS6 was no exception to this, in fact at the time of release it was astounding performance for an estate car.
4. 0L V8 biturbo with 552bhp & 516lb ft. Crucially it developed that torque all the way from 1, 750rpm to 5, 500rpm.
The top speed was still limited to 155mph (or 174mph with the Dynamic pack option such as this car), but the official 0-62mph time was down to 3. 9 seconds, a claim effortlessly confirmed by one of the more respected UK magazines at the time who figured it at 3. 7 seconds for the 0-60mph & 8. 7 for the 0-100mph. Make no mistake, the RS6 is a fast car, even today.
This example has a few small upgrades, carried out by MRC Tuning, one of the most well respected Audi tuners in the UK.
The car now sports 677bhp & 907nm!
It has had regular servicing with any recalls also having been completed.
The engine is whisper quiet from start up, no smoking, either on start up, over run or on boost. The performance is fantastic through the rev range.
As can be seen in the pictures, the engine itself present very well too.
Running Gear
To drive the C7 RS6 is actually something rather special.
Very few cars can offer so much in one package.
It is practical, very quiet, very comfortable, spacious, even relaxing to drive & then at the press of a button it becomes something very different.
The noise changes, the responses change, the performance is quite remarkable & the car totally belies its size. Very capable with great driving dynamics.
This car can do it all.
Of course on the road it drives extremely well.
