Description
This delightful example of the Mercedes W123 Saloon is a very difficult one to beat, the car has arrived with us from Cheshire in fantastic condition with an incredibly straight body, strong engine and an impressive history.
With its production spanning from 1975 right up to 1986 the Mercedes W123 is still the best-selling Mercedes-Benz of all time with numbers exceeding 2. 7 million units, a large number of which are still on the roads today thanks to their exceptional build quality, many W123s would achieve 1, 000, 000 Kilometers with little more than routine maintenance and servicing.
Finished in the colour of Champagne Gold Metallic, our 123 looks very impressive, the paint finish is as good as the day it left the factory. The under-bonnet area is equally as striking, having quite clearly been detailed and polished extensively by its previous owner. The car's interior is stunning. The carpets would appear to have been recently replaced and the Mercedes textile seats are in beautiful order.
A very substantial file of paperwork comes with the car including maintenance invoices, the original Mercedes handbook and MOTs dating back to 1987 when the car was just three years old. Receipts from more recent years show the 220 to have had very regular servicing, the braking system overhauled, various ball joints, a replacement radiator and new gearbox mountings.
Having covered just 103, 000 documented miles in its 40 years on the road, our W123 is a very unique find and will be sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
