1946 MG TC - just 2 owners from new
A most attractive MG finished in Sequoia Cream with tan hood and burgundy leather trim
To many MG enthusiasts, the TC is the definitive model of the ‘T’ Series. Still with pre-war appearance and character, but with a few more refinements, including the extra width of the body, giving a less cramped feel in the cockpit.
The excellent XPAG Type engine provided brisk acceleration and a top speed of 75 mph - very respectable at that time. Handling was taut and responsive, as was expected from an MG. With some 10. 000 examples built between 1945 - 49 and a considerable percentage of these going for export, the TC won many friends both at home and overseas.
Recent restoration has included new body frame and wings, replacement wheels and complete engine rebuild (still running in).
