So we originally sold this in December last year but the customer was only able to take delivery last week, only to realise he did not fit in it. So short of taking the roof off and sitting in the back, we have agreed to re market it for him and it is a bit cheaper this time. So on to the car
1962 Bond Mark G has been with the same owner for the past 18 years. Affectionately known as tweetie pie! It is fitted with a 250cc two stroke villiers engine. It does not have reverse gear but it turns within its own length. We have just fitted a new battery and it has 12 volt electric start as well as traditional kickstart.
The chassis is all sound as can be seen by pictures. Body is of aluminium and fibreglass. I have just been out on road test with it and everybody cannot help but smile when they see it. Apparently they are good for 50 mph but I would not recommend it
