Lots of time and money spent (receipts for everything I had to buy) over a few years restoring the bike. If it could not be repaired it was replaced with new. Original parts kept.
I have covered about 1, 000 miles since rebuild. Nothing needs attention, starts and runs exceptionally well.
7th owner from new.
More pictures if required.
I wanted a project and always fancied owning an old British bike. Found this in Classic Motorcycles on Westgate road Newcastle. I spent 3 years restoring the bike back to original as possible. My knowledge of British bikes wasn't good enough to attempt to strip and rebuild the engine so I put my trust in Arthur Good of Kent Daytonas, he didn't let me down. The bike starts and run very well, it's handles and accelerates a lot better than I thought it would. The bike stands out in the crowd and always turns heads. No MoT or tax to worry about
