I have owned this beautiful car from new when I bought it from Mangoletsi's, the Fiat main dealer in Cheshire in 1999. It has now covered just over 80k miles.
Its current MoT certificate runs to the end of March 2025.
It is in excellent all round condition and has always been garaged.
It has a full service history. In recent years a new oil cooler, new water radiator and new battery have been fitted.
The car has a full black leather interior in excellent condition. The specification also includes both an electric sunroof and air conditioning. It is in otherwise completely standard specification apart from having silicon water hoses for reasons of reliability.
The wheels have been refurbished and powder coated.
All three keys are present, including the all important red key, and it has a Meta Category 1 alarm system.
I bought this car in 1999 because of its unique and eye catching design by Chris Bangle. At the time it was the fastest front wheel drive car on the market and great fun to drive. It is also extremely practical because, unlike many other cars of this type, two adults can be accommodated in the rear seats in reasonable comfort.
In recent years I have taken it to several classic car shows and it won a prize for the Coolest Coupe at the Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Show in 2019. Even 25 years after production finished it still attracts a lot of attention.
