Offered for sale due to a change in circumstances I have owned this RB5 for approximately 5/ 6 years.

Shortly after purchase the radiator gave way and the car got hot resulting in what I believe to be a head gasket issue. The car was then placed into a storage facility where it has been ever since. The radiator was removed and isn't included in the sale as it was damaged.

My plan was to restore the car and keep it with a collection of other Impreza's.

Initially the car was supplied by International Motors LTD, Gloucester.

The service booklet is present and stamped as follows;

KT Green Subaru 1632 miles
KT Green Subaru 9054 miles
Osbourne 14, 980 miles
Mitsubishi 22, 425 miles
Osbourne 26, 591 miles
Osbourne 33, 561 miles
Osbourne 41, 930 miles
Osbourne 46, 689 miles
Subaru Chelmsford 51, 975 miles
Road Rally and Race 65, 264
Road rally and Race 70, 127
Subaru Surrey 80, 680
Subaru Surrey 89, 354
Subaru Surrey 98, 701
Subaru Surrey 106, 903
Subaru Surrey 116, 092
Surrey Subaru specialists 138, 166
William street services 144, 405

The car is now on 162, 000

Its Prodrive enhancement certificate is present as can be seen in the photos and has the correct vin number for the car. Details of the car are held on the RB5 register confirming it is a WR Sport. Hand booklets and service booklet present. I have misplaced the V5 but I will try and find it, failing that you will need to apply for a replacement.

The car was known the the RB5 owners club and is featured in a 2006 Rally Day magazine where it is photographed at the show and again outside of Prodrive along with other RB5 club members cars.

At some point the Prodrive rear spoiler and WR Sport clocks have been removed.

I sourced a WR Sport spoiler, this can be offered by separate negotiation to the buyer but it requires painting in the correct colour.

The body work on top is good bar the rear arches which show signs of corrosion and the back of the sills as to be expected of an unrestored Impreza. There is a hole in the drivers front bolster and a hole in the rear bench seat on the bottom half (Both holes are in the black material not in the blue material so it can be matched). I also have a full good interior that may be available by separate negotiation.

Therefore it is being offered as a restoration project.

I am happy to consider sensible offers.
I have the contact details of a transport person/ company who have moved cars for me in the past. I can forward their details should anyone require a quote for transport
