MV Agusta 750s America:
A super rare and iconic machine

Make: MV Agusta
Model: 750s America
Year of Manufacture: 1978
Displacement: 861cc
Number of Cylinders: 4

Introducing my MV Agusta 750s America, a motorcycle that embodies the spirit of classic iconic Italian engineering and design. This rare machine has only about 900 miles or 1447 kilometres from new. Making it one of the lowest-mileage legendary examples offered in the world today.

This motorcycle's technical details are astonishing, featuring the worlds first four-cylinder inline transverse configuration with double overhead spur gear-driven cams, meticulously sand-cast constructed engine, electric start and of course final drive shaft driven, these machines literally scream out the words exclusive, iconic exotica.

The only non-factory modification on this machine are the beautifully designed Magni silencers, which not only enhance the bike's appearance but also allow the engine breathe better and add a beautiful performance-oriented sound. However, I also have the original La Franconi silencers and the fairingthat came with her allowing you to reinstate the motorcycle to its factory setup if desired.

It comes in the traditional MV Agusta racing red livery with its silver-painted frame. While the metal tank and rear mudguard match perfectly, the fiberglass side panels, rear seat tail, and front mudguard have a slightly different shade of red. This discrepancy might be due to material aging or unique factory choices. I have chosen not to correct this, however, if desired, I can arrange for a perfect color match to conform with the metal painted components to ensure consistency.

With the exception of the silencers, this motorcycle is totally original and unrestored, and aside from some minor signs of aging patina it remains in its outstanding as it left the factory condition.

As a passionate collector and rider, I've owned this remarkable motorcycle for around fourteen years proudly displaying it among my collection. I acquired it in 2010 from a respected and reputable dealer in Belgium and initially kept it in my home in France. I brought it back to the UK in 2011, but because of its low mileage and my preference for using my higher-mileage machines, this MV Agusta has remained in remarkably pristine condition. Consequently, it has never been registered in the UK, but I have all the original documentation and can assist with the registration process if needed.

This machine is impressive in every respect. If you're seeking an investment-grade motorcycle with iconic status, it doesn't get better than this. The combination of marque, model, mileage, condition, and storied history presents a unique and rare opportunity to own a much coveted and very special MV Agusta 750s America.

Following the Japanese dominance in the motorcycle world Italian manufacturers faced financial challenges and due to their higher prices and lower production volumes. This rarity of production, coupled with the celebrated racing success of MV Agusta, has contributed to the exclusivity and allure of this model. Only 540 units produced in total.

Count Domenico Agusta had a passion for mechanical workings and motorcycle racing. Much like Enzo Ferrari, the Agusta family produced and sold motorcycles almost exclusively to fund their racing efforts.

These machines were both exotic and expensive in their day—the MV 750s America retailed for three times the list price of a Honda 750. With only 540 units produced in total and with the passage of time so many lost, it’s no surprise that these most coveted machines are right up there as being one of the most desirable motorcycles in the world. And with this machines milage it’s as good as it gets.

All original documents, factory invoices, build sheets, riders manual, service manual, spare parts catalogue, comes with this machine. And of course it’s fairing.

Should its new custodian be unable to resist getting her back on the road, I am happy to engage the renowned and esteemed services of Mark and Mitch Kay at Meccanica Verghera to fully recommission her.

Offers in the region of £99, 000. I can arrange at cost worldwide crating and shipping. Happy to answer any inquiries, on site inspections and viewing most welcome.

I may possibly consider part exchange, depending on what you have.
