An early example of a B31, having a rigid frame and with the speedo in the tank. Owned by me for 8 years, and previously off the road for decades. Non matching engine number plus age related number, but with BSAOC dating certificate.
Tin ware and wheels are as acquired, whilst the running gear is mostly now re-commissioned. The engine runs well, but is very reluctant to start, the dynamo doesn’t seem to charge and there are a couple of other minor issues, hence the low asking price. But on the plus side, there has been lots of work done with many new parts fitted, including carburettor, tyres, battery, horn, magdyno reconditioned, speedo recalibration, solid state regulator, rewiring, and loads of smaller bits. However, I think my interests have moved on, and I no longer have the enthusiasm to finish the job.
Available separately are some other spares, including a gearbox, bike cover, pillion seat, top box and sundry smaller parts. Plus original BSA service sheets, parts lists and other manuals.
