Kept off the road and garaged in dry storage for last nine years, it has been regularly moved and engine turned with ease of starting
Known to the MG Car Club T Type Register, GCA 678 was first registered on the 21st February 1950 and was the 260th MG TD to come off the production line at the Abingdon factory
The chassis number TD0511 is confirmed as seen on the original chassis plate held on the bulkhead however, it would appear to have had a replacement XPAG engine fitted at sometime in the past
With the benefit of a newer ash frame body tub, new leather upholstery and carpets, complete set of new weather equipment including hood and sidescreens, rear wings, correct instruments and dials on the dashboard with dashboard operated indicators, very little mileage is known to have been done since the restoration was completed in 2006
The radial tyres have good tread depth and on a recent 20 mile drive, is ready for rallies and events
