A fabulous example of an early Pre 67 VW beetle retaining its correct model year features

This Beetle was was a barn find in the UK when rescued and fully restored regardless of cost by Bughaus VW specialist in Nottingham in 1995 proven by an extensive photo album and invoices.
Since then it has been used sparingly as a weekend and summer toy.
Restored into its factory colour of Pastel blue while retaining most of the correct 1961 model year features. The original tired engine was replaced by a fully rebuilt 1300 while the rest of the mechanicals were restored and replaced to a standard specification.
The interior again. Remains original but for a Bluetooth ready stereo hidden away in the glovebox.
